Another day with more sadness than joy. I found the hat from Kenny's baptism outfit today--lots and lots of Kenny tears.I feel weak and tired, I send a prayer out to the Universe to give me strength, courage, and faith.

Discovered in 1885 by Baron Carl von Welsbach, Austria.
Used in alloys for powerful magnets, laser, and color glazes and glass. Colors glass many shades of red and purple. Used as spectral filters in astronomical work, as filters in tanning beds (filters out infrared rays).
Found in monazite and bastnasite mined in the USA, China, Russia, Australia and India.
