'''-helium-
As it is the element of the day, I thought I'd take a minute to remember the days when Kenny, along with his two brothers would sometimes inhale the helium while blowing up balloons for parties, and then speak in their squeaky, high pitched voices...how we would split up with laughter...I imagine most of you out there know exactly what I'm talking about>>ha ha hee hee'''
Element of the day- day 4
#2) He-Helium (gas)
Discovered in 1868 by Norman Lockyer and Edward Frankland- England. A very light, colorless, odorless gas. Is the least reactive of all the elements.Actually discovered in the sun before it was discovered on Earth.
There are no helium-bearing solid minerals. Obtained from natural gas deposits, especially those in Texas, but also from Russia, Poland, and Canada. It is the only element that cannot be frozen and made solid at very cold temperatures.
